SPRING BREAK JAMAICA
Spring Break in Jamaica has a different kind of attitude to match the different lattitude you're in. No Problem Mon will be your motto for the break since Jamaica has no drinking age and the rasta's run the party everywhere on the island. It is a more laid back kind of party atmosphere that will cool you out before you go back to school. Don't plan on sleeping while your on the island except for afternoon and morning siesta's on the beach. Parties and concerts don't usually start til around 10PM with headliners beginning around midnight to 1AM. Every disco or dancehall as they call them on the island will play a pulsating mix of hot reggae both dance hall and roots, soca for those who want to "wine down" and American dance favorites.

Go ahead, drink the water (actually quite good), local beer called Red Stripe (it's actually quite good too and about 130% of the alcohol of a domestic beer, so look out) or drink the Rum which is Jamaica's national drink (seven bucks a bottle at any grocery store... what a country!). We encourage you to eat the food as we do every time we go down. Explore the island foods and make sure you eat Jerk Chicken, Fried Fish and Bammy, Stew Beef, Fresh Lobster and soup. Fresh fruits are offered in abundance on every street corner with exciting choices like pineapple, orange, otaheiti apple or soursop. We know you can afford to live like a King because the average minimum wage is about $35 US Per week.

We don't host parties, but these destinations are cool enough without us leading you around by the nose. You will be able to get into any bar on any night just by paying the normal cover charge just like anybody. Some of our competitors offer pre-planned drinking binges, but we suggest you see the cool countries you go to. There is a beer stop every 50 yards so you will never go thirsty, but who wants to have to be somewhere at an appointed time while you are FREE on vacation. Finally, the food and drink deals are not very good food or drink. We never miss a meal in the islands because they are so good so we suggest you cool out like we do at some little spot and order the special. With Bob on the radio and a buzz on your head you won't want to have to be anywhere for some bunk chicken wings or hamburgers.
